My name is Lauren Erickson. At this point in the MATE program, I am hoping to teach first or second grade. It will be interesting to see where this program takes me. Hands down, my favorite animal is the Lion! It is proud, ferocious, regal and doesn't take garbage form anybody. Nobody messes with the Lion. A lion will assess all situations and act in absolute confidence. They travel in family packs and display strong loyalties to their families. They are such a symbol of strength and fearlessness that I like to use as my own inspiration in tough times.
